Women were not treated the same way as men, they couldn't do the same jobs as men. They couldn't own land and were told to stay home. They also could not vote. They started to rebel against these rights. The Seneca Falls womens rights convention was held by women to try to get more womens rights. It ended in the Decleration of Sentiments, which was what was written in Senecca Falls  . Most men believed that women should not be equal to themselves.
